Cladding Production Manager

Your new company
Your new company is Australian owned and specialises in commercial windows and cladding manufacture and install. With a variety of new and exciting projects, this company have continued to grow and have a strong pipeline of work for the foreseeable future. Their main scope of works includes, but not limited to, office spaces and warehouses. Due to expanding into the composite cladding panels, they require a Production Manager & CNC Operator that can lead the way.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the factory, including the maintaining and running of the CNC machine. You will need to be confident in reading and understanding architectural drawings and plans to then programme the panels in Shape Master software. You will also be liaising with the site teams regularly to ensure that the factory production is complete on-time and to standard to then be delivered to site when it is needed. It will also be part of your role to manage the stock takes and order materials and ensure minimal wastage.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, it is vital that you have solid knowledge and understanding of how to program and work on a CNC machine, as well as the following:

• Experience in working with alucobond, vitacore and solid aluminium panels is highly beneficial
• AutoCAD experience is preferred - ability to read plans and drawings
• A forklift license or willing to obtain one
• Excellent communication and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
• Problem solving and the ability to make decisions quickly
• You need to be able to manage multiple projects at a time
