Diesel Mechanics

Inverell Truck and Diesel Repairs are currently seeking to hire two qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their team in Inverell NSW  

The successful candidate will need to undertake the below on heavy vehicles and heavy plant machinery/equipment and possess:  

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment  
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts on trucks and heavy plant machinery/equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on trucks, and other heavy machinery/equipment 
• Undertake inspections , assessments and maintenance on trucks, and other heavy machinery/equipment

Skills & Abilities:    

• Ideally have a minimum of 3  years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic 
• A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant  
• Ability to work in a team environment 

Salary range is $50,000 - $60,000pa commensurate with experience
