Forklift Operators – Heathwood

Due to increased production at this busy manufacturing plant our clients based in South West-Brisbane are eagerly seeking experienced Forklift Operators, both Counterbalance & High Reach.

This is an opportunity for ongoing work for suitable candidates who have proven experience and required skills and right attitude.

This is a brand new facility, the largest of it’s kind in the southern hemisphere. On site chef working in our brand new canteen cooking nutritious meals daily. On-site car park.

You will perform the following duties:

• Forklift operation where required
• Manual Handling
• RF Scanning
• Attention to detail and Quality Control
• Assisting in production areas
• Able to operate forklifts in tight spaces
• Able to work in extremely cold conditions

Successful applicants must have:

• LF Forklift Licence – MUST BE CURRENT
• Must be able to operate counterbalance or high-reach forklift confidently
• Recent manufacturing/production forklift experience
• Physically fit and able to do heavy repetitive lifting tasks
• Able to work rotational shifts
• Own Reliable Transport a must
• Ability to work independently, and unsupervised
• Must be able to follow directions
• Flexible to work rotating rosters
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Have a good safety attitude
