Job Title: Software Engineer 
Full time 
Salary: $120,000 per annum plus superannuation 
Objective: 
The objective of the role is to design, develop, test and implement the support software applications and systems
Tasks:
Designing the architecture of a software system based Bi 3 Technologies 
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements 
Researching, consulting, analysing and provide a quote for the client 
Drawing up engineering documents for each part that was identified in the architecture phase
Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processed, procedures and methods 
Drafting engineering documents to clarify and outline client’s requirements for developers 
Evaluating the deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods 
Drawing up engineering documents for each part that was identified in the architecture phase 
Store all designs and diagrams and ensure they are all organised in the required format 
Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
Logging appropriate bug tickets to ensure all bugs are tracked and fixed
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
Carrying out testing for each part that has finished construction 
Triage any incoming bugs from clients. Adding screen shots and more information to ensure developers can reproduce the bugs. 
Skills and Experience Required:
Min Bachelors degree in the relevant field
Minimum 3 years of experience
Designing and Development of Complex Dashboards using Tableau Best Practices 
Implementation of Self-Service Environments 
Strong ability to do statistical analysis of data using R with Tableau 
Knowledge of Tableau Server Administration, Upgrades and Installation is an advantage
Experience with Power BI, R and Python development is a must 
Proficient in Business Intelligence, SQL Queries, Database Design, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
