Mechanical Design Engineer

The Company:

Our client designs, develops and supplies cutting edge machines renowned for their durability and superior engineering. We have two of the largest Frame and Truss machinery manufacturing facilities in the southern hemisphere.

The Role:

Reporting to the Machinery Production Manager, the primary focus of this role will be the skilful, effective and efficient design of new and innovative machinery. You will have the ability to think outside the square to bring innovative ideas and design to reality, you will bring to the table quality machinery design - listening to market intelligence and determining a fit for purpose result for customer demands. Additionally, you will have the capability to resolve issues and contribute to the fast-moving manufacturing environment that will see you build success.

The successful applicant will have:

• Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Design Engineer
• Minimum 4 years' experience using 3D CAD programs
• Experience in the Engineering or building field
