Program Manager

This is an opportunity to join a massive global organisation, within one of their specialist divisions focused on Defence related projects. This position will give an experienced Program Manager or Project Manager the opportunity to progress their career and be fully responsible for programs across Australia.

Your new role
As the Program Manager, you will lead the In Service Support Programs across Defence Maritime projects Australia wide. You will be responsible for the strategy and execution of this business area. Providing guidance in regards to the performance of all programs and their adherence to schedule, cost, quality, resourcing and delivery of projects. You will manage a team of technicians and provide coaching, training and development. Your expert skills in stakeholder engagement locally and globally, contract oversight, and performance delivery will be critical in this dynamic position.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualifications in Engineering preferably in marine propulsion, mechanical systems, or power generation
• Project or Business Management experience ideally in maritime, naval or aviation
• Experience in the development and management of teams in a safety critical environment
• Excellent skills in task scheduling, compliance, stakeholder management and have fluent commercial understanding
• Due to the industry environment you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
