THE POSITION
We have an exciting opportunity for a lively and enthusiastic person to join our growing team at Goodslice Pizza Napoletana, located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast QLD, on a full time basis with a competitive salary of $54k - $64k + super.

Goodslice is a hip and lively pizzeria with its roots based firmly on the authentic principles of Pizza Napoletana - but with our own flair and passion, using only quality local and imported ingredients to create a unique experience for our customers. Our venue is quirky and industrial in style, and we also have a full bar license which includes local craft and imported beers, independent wines and cocktails. Our space can also be used as an events venue, and we offer Pizza-Making Experiences and Masterclasses, which teach people the art of Neapolitan pizza-making in a fun and relaxed environment.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position we are recruiting for is to manage the restaurant on a daily basis. Duties would include:

Organising the daily operations of the pizzeria.
Managing front of house and bar staff, including rostering, recruiting and training.
Providing good customer service and handling customer enquiries and complaints (in conjunction with the Marketing Manager).
Assisting the Head Chef with preparatory duties in the Kitchen
Assisting the Directors with food inventory, ordering, suppliers and financial management.
Ensuring OHS and food safety procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment as a strong team player.
Minimum 2 years experience in a role that demonstrates management level experience, or transferable skills to succeed in this role.
A happy, upbeat and can-do attitude is a must.
