About Our Client
They are an manufacturing sector client based in Ballarat. The role can be worked remotely up to 3 days a week, with 2 days in Ballarat, so they are open to candidates from elsewhere in Victoria.
Job Description
As the Functional Consultant you will be the SME of the SAP system in the Industrial and Manufacturing team. This includes a few major functions, including:
Supporting the implmentation of IS tools
- Being the key users for SAP-GIS, initially this will be centred around the Production and Planning module, but may extend in future
- Training other users
- Performing testing before implementations and updates
- Data migration and in future piloting the data rework
Managing the Master Data
- Piloting the implementation of data into the systems
- ensuring data consistency
- Managing the impact of process changes in the systems
Other main duties
- Ensuring support to end-users
- Capturing incidents and defects raised by end users
- Being the leader of data coherence in the site.
The Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced Key User or Functional Consultant with expert knowledge of SAP, ideally including the PP module. In addition you will have:
- Experience in the industrial sector is ideal but not essential
- Strong experience managing master data in IS tools
- Basic knowledge of engineering design and supply chain
- Good experience working with ERP systems such as SAP for Bill of Materials, Routings and Configuration Management
- Experience with CAD and PLM tools
- Ideally 5 years experience in similar SAP Functional Consultant rolesThis role is open to having someone making a step up so please apply even if you feel you aren't quite at the level of this position. We can have a conversation about up-skilling.
What's on Offer
This is a full-time permanent role based in Ballarat. On site requirement is 2 days a week so candidates who are willing to commute from other parts of Victoria would be suitable. Salary and bonus will be discussed after application.
