Your new role
Your role as Slope Stability Engineer & Project Manager will see you manage the development of projects including the application of practical or innovative methods for the analysis of options and progression of preferred option to construction. You will be responsible for the assessment of damage relating to the natural disaster events across the local government area, coordinating Geotechnical consultants to undertake detailed investigation and design of slope stability restoration works ready for construction tendering and delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with landslips and remediation including retaining structures
• Proven experience in the planning, development and analysis of roadwork projects for design
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, verbally with various stakeholders and written
• Current Class C Drivers Licence

Desirable:

• Knowledge of risk assessment as per RMS/TfNSW Guide to Slope Risk Assessment
• Demonstrated knowledge of application of asset management principles to road infrastructure development projects
• Previous experience in engineering project management including the finalisation of construction projects
