Students' attitudes affect the future

Although a vociferous public figure, Andrew Bolt has no scientific training and is thus not qualified to raise serious objections to the Art Gallery of Ballarat's Art Trail.

By using art to communicate with students about important and serious environmental issues including global warming, the art gallery is in fact doing them a favour. It is these children who will have to deal with the problems which worryingly will be much exacerbated by the time they are adults.

With the world's top academies of science, the World Bank, the International Energy Agency, the UN Environment Program and the World Meteorological Organisation, among other bodies, all telling us that we need to act urgently , it's high time deniers like Bolt stopped wasting our time.
