Caddick claimed a gold medal with the Victorian under-14 girls’ 4x100m relay team in Hobart at the weekend.
She ran the second leg in a winning team effort of 49.83 seconds.
She also reached the under-14 girls’ 200m final after finishing fourth in a heat.
Caddick then just missed a medal, running fourth in the final in 26.62 seconds.
Caddick was one of seven Ballarat representatives in the championships, joined by under-16 sprinter and hurdler Nicholas Milton, under-16 400m specialist Liam Procaccino, under-16 high jumper Ryan Shaw, under-18 discus and shot put thrower Callum Baker, under-18 1500m, runner Mitch Thompson and under-18 400m runner Sam Baird.
Milton, Procaccino and Baker all medalled.
Milton went away from Hobart with silver and bronze medals.
He was a member of the Victorian under-16 boys’ 4x100m relay team which finished third in 43.95 and Swedish relay team (100m, 200m, 300m, 400m) which was second in 2:01.94.
Milton was also fourth in the 200m hurdles.
Procaccino lifted from a fifth in a heat to get bronze in the boys’ under-16 400m in 50.52.
Baker was third in boys’ under-18 shot put with a throw of 16.83m and fourth in the discus (50.34m).
