Ms Praag received 1718 votes in The Courier’s Ballarat Cup 100 Best Dressed competition and was yesterday declared the winner.
Wearing a baby-pink dress she purchased online, a bag from her sister’s boutique in Ararat and matching shoes, the 25-year-old said she was “genuinely surprised” to receive so much support.
“There were a lot of girls who I thought were really well dressed and really well presented,” she said.
“I knew I had family support but it is nice to know people in Ballarat appreciated what I was wearing.”
She receives a $1000 gift voucher from Stockland Wendouree, while Daryl Thompson was selected as the random voter to win a $500 voucher.
