The reigning four-time premiers didn't even get close to the Pointies' total of 209 at Eastern Oval, bowled out for 124.
David Ellis (81) was the only Red Caps batsman to get on top as Stephen O'Loughlin and Sam Cue led the charge with four wickets apiece.
After being bowled out, Wendouree returned to the field and tore through the home side for 71 before stumps were pulled shortly before 6pm.
Other round six results saw outright wins to Darley over Brown Hill and Napoleons-Sebastopol against Ballarat-Redan, while North Ballarat clinched a nine-run victory over Coronet City and Mt Clear won easily on first innings in its clash with East Ballarat.
