Boucher holds a one-shot lead in the men’s A-grade event after yesterday’s opening round at Creswick’s Forest Resort, while Pascoe shares the front with Long Island’s Libby Lacy in the women’s top division.
Midlands-based Boucher, who is shooting for his 13th win in the event, carded a one-over score of 73 to be one clear of Mt Xavier’s Bevan Morton.
Pascoe, from Buninyong, is chasing her ninth title and finished the day with a score of 86.
Day two of the competition is held at Midlands today, with the final round at Buninyong tomorrow.
