The singer, vintage culture expert and entrepreneur will lend her style to swing dance lessons in the Mining Exchange, which is being transformed into the Tiki Bar over the weekend.
The festival will bring the clothes, cars, moves and sounds of rockabilly to Ballarat, with performances to take place at 17 venues across the city.
Director Arthur Matsakos said the event was inspired by the Camperdown Cruise Rockabilly Festival and was drawing people from all over the world.
“This will be Australia’s biggest rockabilly festival by far,” he said.
There will also be a family market, burlesque and car shows, fashion parades and art exhibitions.
