Was extremely disappointed on Saturday to discover it would cost $130 for 2 adults and an under 12 child to gain access to the stalls set up in Camp Street for the Rockabilly festival.

The cost of a day pass was $60 each adult and $10 for accompanying child.
I understand that the $60 included access to other items/events, but there was no ability to access the stalls only, without paying this cost.
We came with money to spend. We met a large group of people in a local restaurant that were complaining about the same thing, (they also did not enter and pay) and others leaving the area that also had money to spend at the stalls.
I also understand that the cost of a stall was more than $300, wonder how much business they lost?
This festival was no doubt good for Ballarat tourism, but obviously geared to out-of-towners who stayed all weekend and paid the one or two-day pass.
Maybe if Ballarat is to host this event (or like events) in the future they consider having goods for sale in a separate area.
