Paw Licking, trained by Kelvyn Greenough, and Ronan Izmir, for Jason Thompson, won heats in 25.145sec and 25.126sec respectively.
Each can secure a huge bonus for owners as the first dog to win three country cups in a calendar year.
Paw Licking won Traralgon and Shepparton cups, while Ronan Izmir won at Warrnambool and Bendigo.
Other heat winners - Deadly Vane (Joe Borg, 25.346sec), Empire Allen (Andrea Dailly, 25.166sec), Dark Warrior (Darren McDonald, 25.299sec), Allen Malik (Steven Collins, 25.207sec), Clone Your Own (Robert Britton, 25.207sec) - also won through to the $80,000 group 2 final.
Fastest second place-getter Veyron Bale (Andrea Dailly) was the last greyhound to qualify for the decider.
