Where has summer gone, Ballarat? No, seriously, can someone please tell us.
It was a chilly day yesterday, with the forecast today only slightly better. Partly cloudy with a top of 17 is the prediction. And it wouldn't be Ballarat without the chance of showers as well.
Luckily it's looking like it will warm up later in the week, with temperatures predicted over 20 for the next few days.
POLICE
Police in Bacchus Marsh were yesterday called out to a location yesterday where they found a suspected explosive device.
After calling in the experts, it turned out to be a false alarm and was actuallty earth moving equipment.
In Ballarat, a man was arrested after throwing a cup of coffee and chairs at staff members of The George Hotel in Lydiard Street.
FIRE
Not much on the call-out list for local firefighters, giving them the chance to do some extra training.
AMBULANCE
Nothing serious to report for paramedics in our region.
SES
SES crews were called out to an addresss in Wendouree to help rescue a German Shepherd dog that got stuck under a house.
