Cycling: Jayco Herald Sun Tour
When: Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9
Where: Ballarat CBD and Lake Wendouree
Details: Now in its 61st edition, the Jayco Herald Sun Tour is Australia's oldest stage race. The UCI international level event will complete the Australian Summer of Cycling as it passes through the regional centres of Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Nagambie. Stage one will start in Geelong and finish in Ballarat on February 6 at Ballarat Town Hall. Stage two will then kick off from Lake Wendouree on February 7 as riders make the journey to Bendigo.
Music: Wightwick Wines Summer of Music

Details: Bring your own chair or picnic rug and relax with some great food, wine and music. Featuring music from "Low, Down & Dirty", cheese platters available but feel welcome to bring your own nibbles. Pizza de Wheels will be there and a coffee van. A great range of wine, beers and soft drinks will be available.

Details: Presented by the Ballarat Light Opera Company, Honk is pure eggcellence! A hilarious, witty and really quite beautiful musical version of Hans Christian Andersens' famous fairytale The Ugly Duckling. Written by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, this incredible show "pulls off the considerable trick of delighting children and winking at adults simultaneously". Details: The Ballarat Market is a Sunday morning experience not to be missed with its huge variety of stalls. There is something of interest for everyone.

Festival: Buninyong Marvelous Marmalade Fair
When: Saturday, 1pm-4pm
Where: Buninyong Town Hall
Details: Entries come from every state and expert CWA judges select the winning entries to be sent to compete in the international Marmalade Awards in Cumbria in early March. Large crowds of interested entrants and supporters will fill the hall, and, as a bonus, there is always delectable marmalade for sale.
Cost: Spectators free.
