If there are any 80-year-old veteran bowlers around the Ballarat district, they are encouraged to participate in the upcoming super veterans day at Sebastopol.
Preliminary finals are now over and, as predicted, all the favourites emerged victorious.
Central Wendouree’s A side defeated Sebastopol in division one while City Oval made its mark against Clunes in division two.
Avenue was much too strong for Invermay in division three and Daylesford put on a strong showing against City Oval’s A side to make the division four grand final.
Grand finals for all divisions will be contested at Sebastopol on Monday with a 9.30am welcome for a 10am start.
Umpires are P Pike, G Archibald and N Coad.
The teams for this week’s grand finals, plus my predictions, are as follows:
DIVISION ONE: SMEATON v Central Wendouree
DIVISION TWO: Beaufort v CITY OVAL
DIVISION THREE: Smeaton v AVENUE
DIVISION FOUR: BUNINYONG v Daylesford
