Lyle, 18, won the title with rounds of 72, 73, 76 and 76 to conclude the event.
He romped home ahead of Craig Boucher and Colin McKay with a total of 297, finishing the final round with back-to-back birdies.
“After my round on Saturday everyone congratulated me and was pretty thrilled for me,” he said.
“I was meant to be driving down to the Vic Open but I couldn’t say no to a beer.”
The young gun also took his fifth consecutive Midlands Golf Club junior championship, which was held in conjunction with the senior pennant.
“I won the Midlands Golf Club junior championship as well by about 30 shots, it’s my fifth in a row,” Lyle said.
Lyle made the Midlands history books in 2012 when he became the youngest winner of the club’s championship in its 93-year history at just 16 years of age.
