The Lal Lal 18-year-old is planning full racing-card this year, riding in the pro lite class in all four rounds of the Victorian Senior Motocross Championships and rounds of the Western Region MX Series, as well as debuting in the MX Nationals.
“I can’t wait for the season to begin,” Milesevic said.
Fortunately, he doesn’t have long to wait.
The opening round of the state senior titles, Victoria’s premier motocross event, is at Horsham on March 15-16.
“I won my first senior titles at Horsham two years ago so it’ll be good to go back. It’s a good track,” he said.
Milesevic won state A Lites and under-19 classes in 2012 at his first attempt.
He will then contest the MX Nationals opening round at Broadford on Sunday, March 30.
“I’ll be aiming to win more Victorian titles this year and I’ll definitely try my hardest at the MX Nationals,” the teenager said.
“A top five finish at Broadford would be nice.”
Milesevic, who is riding with EMU Racing at a privateer-level, competed in Europe last year.
He took part in the FIM European Motocross Championships for Diga Racing.
“Last year was good. The racing could have gone better but I really learnt a lot,” he said.
However, he did not have everything go his own way.
“I had bike problem after bike problem, which was pretty unlucky,” he said.
“Hopefully, it’s a lot different this year.”
His best finish in Europe was an eighth place in Latvia.
