The Black Hill man has been charged with two counts of burglary and three counts of theft and will appear in the Ballarat Magistrates Court at a later date.
Fairfax radio is reporting the man is a paramedic but police media have refused to confirm his occupation.
The warrant for the man was issued at 4pm on Sunday and he has been released on bail.
