BALLARAT has won both the open and under-17 divisions of the Central Highlands Regional State League netball series.
The host side claimed the under-17 title on Sunday morning by defeating reigning champions Eureka 55-48 at the Llanberis Netball Centre.
Elonie Hooper dominated the match to secure best on court honours amongst a host of other awards.
The seniors followed suit shortly after, putting in a stellar display to oust the Riddell District Football Netball League 53-24.
Australian Catholic University Ballarat FNL senior coach Kate McMahon was pleased with the way her side absorbed Riddell's early pressure and blew the match apart in the third quarter.
"I knew that Riddell would come out with a lot of physical intensity and I thought we absorbed it really well," McMahon said.
"It was one of our better performances - our set plays came off really well and we were great at maintaining control of the ball."
The victory meant Ballarat now has back to back titles in the two-year-old competition.
The side has earned a lengthy break until it contests the Champions Challenge on July 20.
