The baby, yet to be named, is Ms Rumler-Trainor and her husband Paul Trainor’s fourth child. She said the two older boys, Riley and Ned, wanted a baby brother.

“Ned is still determined it’s a boy,” she said. 

She said they had kept the sex of the baby a surprise, and were glad to now have two boys and two girls. 

“I waited with all of them to name them. I like to see them and hold them first,” she said.

Ms Rumler-Trainor said she had waited up to a week before naming her previous children.

“We have some ideas. I’ve got about half a dozen names in my head, but I still have to discuss them with my husband.”

The baby was due on Saturday, and Ms Rumler-Trainor was brought into hospital on Friday night.

“I didn’t think she would come on Mother’s Day because I was expecting her on Friday.”

Ms Rumler-Trainor said it was a quick birth, with the new girl arriving at 1.50am. 

“I’m one of six, so I like having a big family.”
