Roosters coach Gerard FitzGerald will lead his 314th Victorian Football League game and he will do so against Frankston at Eureka Stadium on Sunday.
FitzGerald levelled the long-standing VFL/VFA record of Bill Faull in a two-point win against Footscray in Ballarat on May 4.
The Selkirk Roosters had a bye round in competition at the weekend.
Footscray also marked the Roosters first win this season.
Our other state league teams in action at home this week include Ballarat Red Devils, who will look to bounce back from a 4-nil loss to Port Melbourne before home crowds in National Premier League Victoria soccer, and marquee basketball teams Ballarat Rush and Ballarat Miners, back at the MARS Minerdome on Saturday night.
The GMHBA Miners pulled off two unbelievable comeback wins to secure a rare Tasmanian double victory and are keen to share their thrilling game with hometown fans. Read more about their road trip here
