Here's what we can find for Ballarat in the 2014 Federal Budget - so far. We'll keep updating throughout the night.

$263.4 million - Western Highway Ballarat to Stawell Duplication: The project will complete planning for the duplication of the Western Highway from Ballarat to Stawell and duplicate approximately 57 kilometres from Ballarat to Buangor.

$9.1 million - Ballarat Freight Hub. The $9.1 million Australian Government contribution will fund core infrastructure to enable the operation of a freight facility capable of handling High Productivity Freight Vehicles, within the planned Ballarat West Employment Zone.

$1 million - Re-connection of Remembrance Drive, through installation of an active level crossing to enable a continuous route across the existing rail line. 

$100,000 - Dana Street and Dawson Street Intersection Upgrade. Installation of dedicated turning lanes at the intersection of Dana and Dawson Streets.
