Buninyong will host the annual Ballarat and District Junior Carnival, which will feature under-14 and under-16 football and 13/under, 15/under and 17/under netball on Sunday.
Central Highlands, Maryborough Castlemaine District and Colac and District competitions will all play matches, with the day to start from 9am.
While on football, the deadline for clearances around the state is drawing to a close.
Players have until June 30 to finalise their arrangements for the rest of the year before the transfer window officially closes.
That leaves players two more rounds to play before they are restricted from moving to a different club in 2014.
WORLD CUP
England's FIFA World Cup is in tatters after a 2-1 loss to Uruguay in the early hours of this morning.
Two goals from Luis Suarez stunned the English, which now need Italy to beat Costa Rica to leave them with any chance of progressing past the group stage.
Other results saw Columbia beat Ivory Coast 2-1, while the Japan versus Greece game is currently locked at 0-0.
