SEBASTOPOL Vikings have been forced off their own pitch due to weather this week and instead will play its home game against Bell Park on the synthetic pitch at Morshead Park.

With more than 30 millimetres of rain falling throughout the week, St Georges Reserve has become unplayable and the Vikings' Football Federation Victoria state league four fixture has been moved.

Playing at the newly developed synthetic pitch at Morshead Park, they will host the seventh-placed side to which they lost 0-1 in April.

Sebastopol will enter the match with the exact same side that helped secured a 2-2 win against undefeated Hoppers Crossing last week.

However, coach Jonathan Davey said his side would revert to its normal tactics, rather than the game plan that almost saw it claim the upset of the year last week.

"Last week was something different, the opposition played a style that nobody else can play and we needed to stop that," he said.

"This week it will be a bit more attacking, we will be a lot more direct in our attacking.

"Bell Park have the air of unpredictability to we have to be ready for anything."

The Vikings currently sit in 10th position, with two wins, four draws and seven losses from its 13 games this year.
