The trio has won the Victorian Indoor Bias Bowls Association ladies triples just one week after securing the fours format alongside Heather Hopkinson.
Kierce, Nimmo and Betteridge secured wins over Bacchus Marsh, Colac and South Group before trumping a composite Ballarat team consisting of Elaine Treloar, Cherril Helmore and Hopkinson in the final at Sunshine Bowling Club on Sunday.
Betteridge, the triples skipper, said she was focusing on getting the three-peat when they contest the VIBBA ladies pairs, also to be held at Sunshine.
We’re trying. It’ll be pretty hard going (to get all three titles),” she said.
Betteridge will play with Kierce for the pairs, while Nimmo and Hopkinson will also join forces in search of the win.
Nimmo will also contest the Ballarat Indoor Bias Bowls Association’s ladies champion of champions event at Invermay Bowling Club on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Victoria’s state team (featuring several Ballarat bowlers) will hold its first practice session at Sunshine next Sunday for the Australian Indoor Bias Bowls Council National Championships.
The championships will be held from August 25-30.
