Sunbury police charged Jonny Jovic, who is allegedly responsible for stealing two caravans and attempting to steal another two.
One of the caravans has been linked back to a theft on July 4 in Invermay.
Jovic, from Scarborough Queensland was refused bail by an after hours magistrate this morning at the Sunbury Police Station.
The 35-year-old will face a magistrate at Broadmeadows for 10 charges relating to the theft of caravans on Thursday.
The charges follow the discovery of the two stolen caravans at a residential property in Sunbury last night around 8.30pm.
The two caravans and a Toyota Hilux were seized from the Pasley Street property and are currently at the Sunbury Police Station.
The other caravan has been identified as belonging to Patterson Lakes couple who had their caravan stolen on Thursday 10 July.
