We have been receiving reports of snow blanketing the region over night as the temperature climbs from two degrees.

POLICE
Local police attended a car fire in Canadian forest over night.
Sergeant Travis Barber said police were treating the incident as suspicious and were investigating.
FIRE
Three fire crews attended a car fire in Canadian Forest, just off Yankee Flat Road at 11pm on Thursday night.
The fire had been brought under control by the Mt Warrenheip crew by the time the Ballarat City crew arrived.
Ballarat City Senior Station Officer Mal Jones said the crew encountered snow while driving toward the fire along Yankee Flat Road.
"It was pretty spectacular," he said.
AMBULANCE
Paramedics attended no trauma cases in the Ballarat region over night.
