WHAT: The Royce Twins Debut EP Launch Party
WHEN: Saturday, July 26 at 10pm
WHERE: JD'S Sports Bar
Tickets: $10
BALLARAT will be first in line to hear the new sounds of the The Royce Twins self titled debut EP which will be launched at JD's Sports Bar this Saturday night.
The five track EP has been the result of the support from the twins fans who helped fund their recording costs.
Four of those recordings are original compositions by twins Gabriel and Michael Saalfield, with the additional track a cover of I won't give up by Jason Mraz and Michael Natter which the boys became known for singing on the Australian hit television show X Factor.
"We're grateful for everyone who helped crowd fund the EP," Michael said.
"We've been through our fair share of challenges in life but if you keep going you can achieve almost anything," Gabriel said.
"This EP is just like that. I hope people who have had our start to life see that and are brave enough to follow their own dreams.
Adrian Hannah, who has worked with Australian artists Vanessa Amorosi and Delta Goodrem, took on the project after hearing original compositions of The Royce Twins and produced their debut EP which will go on sale at iTunes July 26.
The tracks on the EP have been described as inspiring as The Royce Twins sing about love and courage.
"This is a milestone for us for sure, the EP provides us with the opportunity to have our original music to be heard and set up recording a full album down the track," Michael said.
The first single to be released by popular demand to radio is the cover of I won't give up.
