Emergency services were called at 9.20pm after a Holden HSV sedan side-swiped a ute and trailer at the intersection of Sebastopol-Smythesdale and Bells roads.
Extensive damage was caused to both vehicles.
The occupants of both vehicles are believed to have no injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Holden sedan left the scene prior to the arrival of police and have not been located.
