The club has trawled through the record books and come to the conclusion that King’s rebound goal against Moreland City was the quickest goal the club has ever scored.
“I was in the right place at the right time and finished off something that we have been working on for the season,” King said.
“I think that we can get it even quicker if everything worked spot on.”
King beat the record of 22 seconds set by Sean Harding in a Victorian Cup match back in 2013.
“It feels great to have a record at the Red Devils and something that you think only forwards would really get.”
