Not only is her grandpa undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, her little sister Victoria has a rare disease called Shapiro Syndrome and is unable to regulate her body temperature.
Jessica started riding when she was five and competes in Victorian and Western Region events. She is often the only girl in her category.
To raise cash for the Challenge KTM Ride4Kids Motocross, Jessica’s parents made a video of her in action and sent it to local businesses asking for support. She was the highest fundraiser and won a KTM 85SX.
“I'm still way too small for it, so my dad has to lower the suspension, change the wheels and carve the seat.”
