The works were created by students studying VCE, include a world map made of bottle caps, children’s book and body cast.
Studio art student Sophie Anstis created a collection of photographs of students. Using lazertran, Sophie placed the images onto ceramic tiles.
“I used the tile medium because they rip and crack and that reflects that we are not perfect,” Sophie said.
“I was really inspired because my theme was identity. Not only physical identity but collective itentity.”
Area learning leader Aime Bird said students were aware of current events and this was reflected in their artwork.
The exhibition includes works from students studying product design and technology, food and technology, visual communication design, art, studio art photography and media.
The exhibition was officially opened on Thursday night and will run for one week.
