Grades three and four pupils created the artwork using 100 per cent organic fair trade coffee on white paper.
Ballarat artist Corina Wyatt worked with the pupils for two weeks to share her project, Seeds of Love, in connection with National Adoption Awareness Week held from November 8.
“I got the pupils to think about what family means to them and thinking about special friends and extended family,” Ms Wyatt said.
Visual arts teacher Melissa Pearce said the pupils were inspired to create special artwork.
“Students understand that families can be made in different ways,” Ms Pearce said.
The exhibition will be on display during ChristmasFest on December 4.
