It might be named after some of the most lovable dogs in the world, but all breeds are welcome to this year’s Labrador Indulgence Day.

The event will run at St Anne's Winery in Myrniong from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, November 15 and will raise funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.

Co-organiser Belinda Howard said the event has something for the entire family, with demonstrations from Seeing Eye Dogs Australia and customs officials always popular.

“Everyone can bring their dogs. It’s a good opportunity for people looking for dogs as well,” she said.

Alongside the demonstrations the day will feature doggie games and competitions, a lap of honour around the vines, a slow auction, music and entertainment, food and activities and more.

More details can be found on the www.labradorindulgenceday.com website.

People are advised not to bring puppies yet to receive their final injections or females in season.
