What to do after the last race?
“As a race-goer myself it is always hard to find somewhere after to continue the day here in Ballarat,” Bar Wat owner Chris Gusman said.
“So the idea of a venue that’s not a club, but has live music and a chilled out vibe just seemed to fit.
“On the night we will be serving a selection of tapas from our menu, such as mini parmas, Moroccan cutlets, lime and pepper squid, and sliders.”
Mr Gusman said additional items set to appear on the bar’s future menu will also be available on the night.
“The idea of tapas is to be shared with friends, family and loved ones and, of course good wine and cold beer. To throw in live music is just a bonus,” he said.
He said tickets will be available up until the day and on the night in limited numbers.
“Why not get a group together, even if you’re not going to the cup and enjoy the night,” Mr Gusman said.
The Last Leg at Bar Wat will kick off at 6.30pm on Saturday, November 21.
Tickets: $70 per person. Bookings: 0438 098 050.
