
Highlanders drop game
CENTRAL Highlands dropped its second round clash with Metro Northern in the state under-16 male cricket championships in Melbourne on Tuesday.
A winner on day one in the Dowling Shield, the Highlanders were unable to defend 8-167 off their 50 overs as Metro Northern passed it with six wickets in hand.
Sunbury’s Dylan Landt again top scored with 42.
Central Highlands plays Metro Inner South East on Wednesday.
