THE Catholic Education Office Ballarat (CEOB) is seeking a principal to lead a new school in Ballarat’s west.
The CEOB is advertising for a foundation principal or co-principal for the Lucas Catholic primary school. The new principal will be appointed in February.
It is planned the school will open in January 2017 with a projected enrolment of between 50 and 100 pupils.
Lucas’ first school will be designed to accommodate 350 to 400 pupils from prep to grade six and service families in Lucas and surrounding communities, including Cardigan.
The CEOB website says: “The establishment of a new Catholic primary school in the Ballarat suburb of Lucas offers exciting possibilities to existing and potential school leaders”.
