BALLARAT OUTDOOR AND 4x4 EXPO
Find inspiration for all things outdoor at the Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4x4 Expo this weekend. Exhibits include: caravan and camping, fishing, boating, pools and spas, 4WD and off-road, gardening, landscaping, food and wine. The event will be held at the Ballarat Showgrounds from March 4-6.
NEWLYN OUTDOOR MOVIE EVENT
For those wanting to watch the new StarWars movie under the stars, the blockbuster will be screened at the Newlyn Recreation Reserve on Saturday night from 6.30pm.
FREE GIRLS’ SOCCER CLINIC, TOURNAMENT
Football Federation Victoria and the city’s marquee women’s soccer team Ballarat Eureka Strikers are ready to help girls have fun and develop their games.
In a bumper Saturday schedule, the day will start with a skills clinic for girls. Participants will then hit the pitch to test their skills in a mini-tournament.
The free clinic and tournament is aimed for girls aged 10-14 and runs from 9.30am at Morshead Park on Saturday. Register via email ballarateurekastrikers@gmail.com or join the event via the Strikers’ Facebook page. Walk-ups welcome, places limited.
JIVE ON THE JETTY
Ballarat Yacht Club will host its much-anticipated annual fundraiser Jive on the Jetty on Sunday, from 2pm. Vonda Buoys and the Falsettos will provide live entertainment on the club’s covered deck. Catering from the yacht club cafe.
