RHYS Ellis has joined a growing list of injuries at Darley.
He was forced out of the Devils’ season opener against Melton South on Saturday with hamstring trouble before half-time.
He joins Darley’s Geelong VFL-listed duo Matt Inglis and Jake Edwards, who were each injured in practice matches with the Cats, on the sidelines.
Inglis (ankle) is out for the season, while Edwards might miss up to six weeks with a foot issue.
Darley coach Jarrod Edwards also finished Saturday with ice on an hamstring, but he was not too concerned about the soreness.
Edwards said Darley would make the most of a bye next weekend to freshen up in readiness for its next outing against Bacchus Marsh on April 24.
