The return of goalkeeper Aaron Romein to the Ballarat Red Devils’ starting 11 will be marred by the absence of brother Josh in the side’s upcoming National Premier Leagues West Vic 2 contest against Sunshine George Cross Soccer Club on Saturday.
The right back will be forced to spend a week on the sidelines after obtaining a red card in the 62nd minute of the Reds 1-0 victory over Melbourne City last weekend.
In a boost for the sixth placed Reds, the side will also regain David King for the clash at Morshead Park following a period off the pitch due to injury.
Reds coach James Robinson said while the side would come into the game full of confidence after last week’s win, they were not underestimating Sunshine George Cross, who currently sit at second-last on the ladder.
“The ladder tells a different story but they’ve got a few dangerous players and an ex-A-League player,” Robinson said. “We want to build on that desire from last week.”
The match kicks off at 6pm.
