A new and improved Rokewood Kindergarten will be officially unveiled on Thursday.
Western Victoria MP Gayle Tierney will open the centre, which is part of a $1.1 million ‘early years’ infrastructure project that also includes an extension to the Bannockburn Family Services Centre.
The improvements to both centres are expected to add an extra 60 places for children in an effort to help address Golden Plains Shire’s growing population.
The Rokewood Kindergarten upgrade includes an extension and renovation, allowing for an additional 15 places for children and a significantly increased service capacity for occasional care, maternal and child health.
