EMMA Milesevic is within striking distance of the lead in the Victorian Senior Motocross Championships after taking out the second round.

The Lal Lal 18-year-old had only 0.609 seconds to spare, but that was all she needed at Colac over the Anzac Day weekend.
She is just five points behind defending women’s expert class champion Maddison Brown with two rounds remaining.
Milesevic, who is in a comeback from a serious back and neck injury she suffered last year, won two of three motos to claim the round.
“It’s really good that I’ve managed to close the gap a bit which is handy. I wouldn’t want her to get away from me this early on in the season,” she said.
On her fitness since her injury last year, Milesevic said she was feeling really good. “I’ve been working really hard on my fitness and bike time. I feel like I’m taking steps in the right direction.”
Round three is at Wonthaggi on June 4-5.
