THE Creswick Cougars managed to seal their first win in the Ballarat District Soccer Association’s women’s division one, grinding past Vic Park Blue 1-0.
In other fixtures from rounds eight, North United moved a point clear at the top of the table with a 4-1 success over the Forest Rangers, while the Sebastopol Vikings returned to the winners list with a comfortable 3-0 win over Vic Park White.
In the men’s division one Forest Rangers proved too strong for North United, ramming home six unanswered goals to keep their place atop of the ladder. Vic Park Blue triumphed 1-0 over Ballarat, while Warrnambool cruised past Creswick 3-0. In the final match the Sebastopol Vikings outclassed Bacchus Marsh 2-1.
