Card fraud on rise
MORE than 2.6 million Australians fell victim to fraud between 2014-15, with the most common type of fraud card fraud.
The latest ABS data reveals 8.5 per cent of the population aged 15 and over was targeted, an increase from 6.7 per cent of the population targeted between 2010-11.
Seventy-one percent of victims experienced fraud through a single incident.
