The 21-year-old claimed the Glen Ellyn Criterium on a track around Lake Ellyn in front of a field of 63 riders from around the USA.
White had finished 10th in the opening criterium, and currently sits at the top of the table in the eight stage event.
The race which is based around Chicago will now travel to Willow Springs for a 110 kilometre road race, before moving onto another criterium in West Dundee.
The stage win will go down as the highlight of the young Ballarat rider’s trip to the USA thus far, which has also included races in Minneapolis and Milwaukee.
Earlier in the year White cemented his place as one of regional Victoria’s premier cyclists by taking out the Elite Men’s title at the Vic Country Road Cycling Championships in Harcourt
